由「傑青武術暨音樂藝術中心」與「龍武館」合辦的「第三屆全港中小學武術錦標賽」，已順利舉行。可譽共有7位中四級至中五級同學參與集體小念頭比賽(青年組別)，獲得二等獎，獲獎同學包括：

本年度，可譽設立「詠春體驗課」，讓有興趣學習詠春的同學透過接觸中國武術，認識中華文化。

得獎學生參賽詠春套路「小念頭」，是詠春拳第一套拳，套路動作充分體現詠春拳術的精髓「中庸之道」。練習套拳時追求每下動作恰到好處，不偏不倚，正正是人生所應堅守的處事法度。

「止戈」為「武」，武術不是為了爭勝，而是為了不爭。強身健體，是習武的益處。以和為貴，是習武後的體會。

Ho Yu students awarded second place in The 3^rd Hong Kong Primary and Secondary Schools Wushu Championships

Wing Chun is a concept-based Chinese martial art and form of self-defense. Aiming at promoting students’ understanding of Chinese culture and martial art techniques, a Wing Chun course has been organized this year. The participating students formed a team and took part in The 3^rd Hong Kong Primary and Secondary Schools Wushu Championships organizsed by KY Wushu & Music Art Centre and Dragon Wushu. Students competed with other athletes from all over Hong Kong on 25 May. The team consists of the following students:

S4A Ko Chun, Kwang Hoi Nam

S4B Lam Ka Chun, Tse Chun Yiu, Wong Yim Chung

S4C Lo Sze Ming

S5D Hon Blunsky

In the competition, the team performed Siu Nim Tau (Little Idea), the first and most important form in Wing Chun. They could recognize power generation concepts, and develop a structure of the whole body. Throughout the process, they adopted a moderate approach when facing the opponents, which they apply to their daily lives by always taking the middle course and respecting others. Besides, they learnt to maintain harmony in the competition while staying healthy doing Wing Chun.
