Last Day of School  “Six Years of Companionship”

Our Secondary Six students will be taking their study leave soon. The school has held various activities with an aim to boosting their morale.

Our peer counsellors hosted song requesting sessions namely “Convey Your Heart” for students to express their thoughts and feelings on air. S6 Quality Circle offered some Japanese Ema for S6 students and teachers to write down their wishes on these small wooden plaques. In lunchtime, a music show was held to encourage S6 students with uplifting songs. Last but not least, all S6 teachers and students gathered in the school hall where they watched videos recording students’ growth, followed by graduation performance by each class. The curtain was closed in a moving atmosphere after S6 students sung the school song together one last time.

We wish all S6 students best of luck in the DSE. Ho Yu’s got your back!

Visit Tai Kwun

Our Secondary Four students visited Tai Kwun (the historic Central Police Station compound) to understand its historical meaning, purposes upon revitalisation, and explore how sustainable development could be achieved by making use of current facilities.

Travelling brings about far greater benefit than mere book learning. We encourage our students to grasp every opportunity to enrich their knowledge and broaden their horizons.

Despite differences, we share things in common

Small Small World Carnival” for Non-native students

On 18th February, 2023, our teachers and a number of Non-native students from P3-P5 went to Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre to visit ‘Small Small World Carnival’ They participated in the following activites:

  1. Name hat workshop: A workshop of making a personal name hat and sharing with each other. Children can understand more about their own culture and other things across cultures.
  2. Exhibition and game stalls: Under the guidance of the tour guide, through exhibition and game stalls, such as United Nations Snack Street, Starry Story Cinema etc., children understand the message for the big big world: “We are different, but we share something in common!”

Teachers and students had a lot of fun on that day. We hope that, through this activity, children can start from their own culture and explore cultural inclusion in everyday life, so as to build an inclusive society and understand that love that can transcend skin color and borders.
