Biotech Education in Hong Kong
It was not too long ago that we talked about the Biotechnology Mobile Laboratory that would benefit students and teachers across Hong Kong with a functional, well-equipped, and advanced laboratory for biotech education. It was the Board of Directors of Sik Sik Yuen, a charitable organization, with the vision and commitment for education, that approved the full funding of the Biotechnology Mobile Laboratory Program (BML Program), in which a mobile laboratory (the MobileLab) was to be constructed and the biotech education on board was to be developed and delivered.
In April this year, we celebrated the inauguration of the MobileLab that was constructed and completed on time on a rush-order basis with the dedicated efforts of numerous people, including the workers, master technicians, and managers in the bus construction business, in addition to others who would put in time and effort just to build a perfect mobile laboratory for biotech education for our young generation.
