吃苦的基因

Learn about the concepts of genetics, and common genetic traits. Students can check whether they have the “bitter gene” by licking phenylthiocarbamide (PTC) taste test paper.

This is a single gene protein on our tongues. PTC can bind to this protein only with the presence of this gene and taste the bitterness on the paper.

認識遺傳學的基礎概念與常見的遺傳特徵。學生通過舔舐苯硫脲(PTC)味覺試紙來測試自己是否帶有「吃苦的基因」。

這是我們舌頭上的一種單基因蛋白質。 PTC只有在這種基因存在的情況下,才能與這種蛋白質結合,並嚐到紙上的苦味。
