Recombinant DNA Technology – Transformation of a Green Fluorescent Protein Gene

DNA重組技術 — 轉移螢光基因

Learn about the concept of recombinant DNA technology and its applications. Students can use micropipettes to deliver DNA plasmids with a gene that codes for the green fluorescent protein (GFP) into bacterial cells. Transformed bacterial colonies will be “visualized” as green fluorescence under UV light.

學習DNA重組技術的概念與其應用。學生會利用微量移液管將帶有綠色螢光基因的DNA質粒轉移至細菌細胞中。成功轉移的細菌菌落在紫外光燈下會“呈現”綠色螢光。
