Effects of UV Light Exposure on DNA Damage 紫外光線對DNA受損的影響

Learn about DNA damage and repair mechanisms, students will investigate the effects of UV light exposure on DNA degradation by exposing DNA samples to UV light. They can use micropipettes to deliver the samples into an agarose gel for electrophoresis, and visualize the extent of DNA degradation.

學習DNA受損與修復的機制。學生將DNA樣本暴露在紫外光線之下，探究紫外光線對DNA降解的影響，再用微量移液管將DNA樣本加入瓊脂凝膠中。經過電泳之後，就能呈現DNA降解的程度。
